Open Access Publishing Explained In-Person

This workshop introduces researchers to Open Access (OA) publishing models and its impact on scholarly communication. Participants will learn: 

  • What Article Processing Charges (APCs) are and how they work. 

  • How to choose the right OA model for their research. 

  • Open access Creative Commons Licensing.

  • How to use AUB’s OA services, including depositing accepted manuscripts in ScholarWorks for immediate, free access. 

Note: Additional time allocated for hands-on if needed.
